Trichoderma based Biofertiliser
Surveys conducted on food crops, industrial crops, vegetable crops and fruit crops indicate that Trichoderma are common and can be easily isolated.
Trichoderma species had ability to suppress growth of fungal plant pathogens and enhance plant growth and development. Experiments conducted on several crops indicate that selected Trichoderma strains could reduce significant diseases caused by fungal pathogens.
Biofertilisers provide opportunities to reduce health risks, costs and environmental damage due to excessive chemically based fungicide usage.
From the field trials, crops treated with Trichoderma have grown better and have higher yields to compare with the oneswithout application.
TSHK provided strategic positioning and explored avenues for grant applications."Proof
